Groundrush is the next free update for EVE: Valkyrie. The update happens on April 11 for PlayStation VR and it brings a new map, better co-op play and more.
The Groundrush update gives players access to a new map called Solitude. Unlike the usual space-themed battlefields, Solitude takes place on a planet’s surface. Players will have to re-think their strategies to succeed in the confines of this new and dangerous environment. Props to the developers for trying to mix things up a bit.The update promises some new Wormhole content for the weekend event. It will get weird and wild as you discover new crazy locations and interesting mechanics during your Wormhole adventures.
They have expanded the Co-Op mode to include both Carrier Assault and Control game modes. This offers a Player vs. AI option so you can hone your skills alongside other pilots, rather than against them. It doesn’t matter which mode you decide to play, the XP progression and rewards are all the same. Play it solo or with a squad and reap the rewards!
The update also brings new animated avatars to EVE: Valkyrie. It is an aesthetic touch that the developers are adding to the game. The animations let players celebrate their victories or wallow in their defeats.
The developers always want to make sure that the game is accessible to all of its players. In an effort to do so, this update will make English subtitles available for the game.
Besides these new additions, the EVE: Valkyrie team continues to make improvements. These include altering the Valkyrie League Alpha, improving Training modules, and perfecting the multiplayer playlists. The developers also continue to work on the game’s stability so that players will get the best possible experience.
April 11 will be an exciting day for EVE: Valkyrie so make sure you login and experience the exciting new content of Groundrush! If you want to know more about the game, you can always check out their website.
