Stardew Valley is the hit indie-game that’s inspired by the Harvest Moon farming series, and it’s heading to the Nintendo Switch soon. An announcement on the release date for Stardew Valley on Switch has been long awaited for after it was revealed it had been approved for the hybrid console. Now Finn Brice, the CEO of Stardew Valley publisher Chucklefish, revealed on Twitter that a big announcement on the game will be made today.
The game will launch on Nintendo Switch on Oct. 5. It will be sold for $14.99 on the eShop. The Switch version will also be the first to receive Stardew Valley’s upcoming multiplayer mode.
Stardew Valley was first released on Windows in February 2016 before ports were made for the PS4 and Xbox One that came out in December 2016. Since The charming and hugely popular game puts the player in charge of running a small farm, growing crops and raising livestock which is why Stardew valley is one of the most highly anticipated games to hit Switch yet!
